SM-MSR shock mount for different stereo applications, to be used with two MK-012 preamps.

You do not need a stereo bar, two shock mounts and two mic stands. The only thing you need now is a SM-MSR shock mount and two swivel joints for XY and ORTF.
For MS-Stereo please use one MK-012 cardioid  capsule and one figure-of-eight adaptor or figure-of-8 capsule.
For Ambisonic recording you need two SM-MSR, two swivel joints and a 270mm stereo bar.
For comfortable ajustment of shock mount by ORTF recording we highly recommend an additional 5/8" joint.

    This shock mount is a unique, clever way to use stereo miking technique. You can use one MK-012 cardioid etc and one with an MK-101-8 and you have a nice Mid-Side rig that fits in one compact, durable shock mount on one stand. If you buy the swivel mount adapters you can also use X-Y or ORTF mounting, albeit with a slight vertical offset, again in a neat, compact installation on one stand and mount. I use mine all the time and decided to get another one. Unique, and for the price, get it now! The only equivalents on the market cost much more I found it well designed, well made, effective and easy to use. I have no problem giving it a sincere 5 stars nice Mid-Side rig that fits in one compact, durable shock mount on one stand.
