A new metal pop-filter is a perfect solution for filtering out unwanted pop and S-sounds, which appear unavoidable during vocal recording. A fine metal mesh has better protecting effect than usual nylon Pop-screens. The MPF-1 is directly attached to a microphone shock mount, the distance to the microphone and the height can be easily adjusted.

The combination of the new capsule, headbasket and transformerless circuit produces a more transparent or hi-fi sound when compared to the classic transformer output coloration and soft top end of the MK-219/319.
